Annie Pierce, a 1972 University of Chicago Chemistry graduate, pursued Photography and Printmaking at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago while teaching inner-city children. She moved to Los Angeles, working as a Layout Artist and Art Director before co-founding Crenshaw Graphics. As Founder and President of the Community Financial Investment Groups Association (C.F.I.G.), she invested over $590,000 in Black-owned businesses and published several community newspapers. She also founded The Real Estate Club, increasing its holdings to over $3 million, and co-founded the NaturaGrow Garden Club. Pierce’s interest in herbal medicine led her to create The-Cure-It-Yourself Herbal Medicine Store and several natural cancer cure websites. Her healing philosophy emphasizes organic, alkaline food and natural herbs. Pierce’s dedication extends to education, aiming to enhance global systems with a focus on character development and nature-based learning for children.
